One of Lithuania's most iconic voices — now stepping onto the international stage.
12 shows, 6 cities across Lithuania — 2023–2026.
Alanas Chošnau is one of Lithuania's most iconic voices: frontman of Naktinės Personos, a seven-album solo artist, and an international collaborator. He worked with British producer Mark Reeder (close ties to Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode), released music in the UK and Spain, and had his video "All Alone" featured in Vogue Japan.
Born in Vilnius in 1974 to a Lithuanian mother and an Iraqi-Kurdish father, Alanas spent his early childhood in Baghdad before returning to Lithuania as a child refugee during the Iran–Iraq war. Music became his solace and destiny, leading him to co-found and lead Naktinės Personos in 1992 — the most influential Lithuanian electronic synth-pop band of the 1990s, with 10 albums, 2 EPs, and record-breaking concerts reaching 30k audience in Vilnius' Vingis Park.
After a decade with the band, Alanas launched his solo career, earning Best Artist of the Year, multiple Golden Discs, and releasing seven Lithuanian-language albums with gold and platinum-level sales. During the pandemic, Alanas crossed into international collaboration with British producer Mark Reeder. Together they released two full albums, Children of Nature (2020) and Life Everywhere (2022), recorded in Berlin, drawing international praise in the UK, Germany, Japan, Australia, and niche US audiences.
In 2024, Alanas made a new breakthrough with Ibiza-based Ukrainian producer Alev Tav, releasing "Golden Sun" on Glasgow Underground (UK) and "Sun On My Face" on Cocoa (Spain).
With more than 28 years on stage, countless awards, and a voice that resonates across generations, Alanas Chošnau is no longer just a Lithuanian phenomenon — he is an artist with a story and sound ready for the world.
